Travel tips
Swiss citizens: a valid identity card or passport for travel abroad. Italian citizens: a valid identity card for cross-border travel (without renewal stamps) or a passport. Minors must carry a personal ID document; if a minor is travelling without both parents, please check whether a parental authorisation letter is required. A health insurance card (TEAM/CH) is recommended.
Winter temperatures between -5°C and +5°C, with possible snowfall. Bring a light umbrella.
A warm winter coat, scarf, gloves, hat, waterproof non-slip shoes, and a comfortable change of clothes for the evening.
In Slovenia the currency is the Euro. Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere; cash is handy for the market stalls.
